Low FPS rate problem

Players report that they can't get more than 10-15 FPS even with all settings turned down. Playing in windowed mode doesn't help either. Here's how one player described the problems:

Just bought and installed the game and I got 10-15 FPS. I've turned all the settings down and read through the recommended requirements (which I should easily meet...). I checked the task manager and the game isn't throttling my CPU or RAM or anything like that, so I'm a bit at a loss.

If you're experiencing FPS issues, lag, and slowdowns while gaming, we recommend downloading GameFire 6 Pro (free). It focuses your computer resources and processes on gaming without overclocking your hardware.

Game controller keeps disconnecting

Players report that their controllers frequently lose connectivity. This can happen every few seconds or every 2 minutes. The good news is that Big And Studios has acknowledged the bug and confirmed that DBC17 will soon receive an update to fix the 3rd party controller disconnect issue.

So my game controller apparently lost the connection, except it's a wired controller and works 100% with every other game.

It's fine in the menu, and I can start a game of batting or bowling and then get a message at no set time. Controller 7 is disconnected, press Y to reconnect. Sometimes it happens every few seconds, then it might last 2 or 3 minutes and then it happens again!
