Fix - Just Cause 2 not launching

1. Delete the Square Enix folder

If Just Cause 2 does not launch on your PC, you can try deleting the Square Enix folder. This folder should be in the Documents folder, after deleting it restart Steam and try running the game again.

2. Install the game on your local hard drive

Users have reported that Just Cause 2 will not launch if the game is installed on an external hard drive.

If this is the case, you must uninstall the game and reinstall it on your local hard drive.

3. Install and download Visual C++ Redistributable

Problems with Just Cause 2 may be due to missing files, if this is the case you should check the integrity of the game cache. Also, make sure to install all necessary Visual C++ Redistributable files. To install the necessary files, go to the Just Cause 2 installation directory and find the vcredist folder. Run the installation file from this folder and follow the instructions.
